Using selected text of Leonardo da Vinci’s journal entries in Irma A. Richter’s "The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci", this project plays with typography and image to create a dynamic reading experience while maintaining legibility.
Images were sourced from Richter’s book as well as a variety of art history, engineering, and geography books to better contextualize da Vinci’s ideas and inventions for today’s reader.
